Your complete satisfaction is guaranteed on all remanufactured cartridges. We guarantee that our remanufactured cartridge is free from defects in material and workmanship and is 100% compatible with the machine for which it was engineered. 

If you are not satisfied with your remanufactured cartridge, complete the "Add a Return" form found in the "My Account" tab. Or you can contact Tri Industries customer service at [email protected] or 773-754-3100. We will quickly review your claim and work to resolve your problem.

Defective Return Claim and Authorization Process

Contact TRI Industries Customer Service at [email protected] or 773-754-3100. A TRI customer service representative will be available to assist you between the hours of 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST, Monday through Friday.  

Our customer service representatives are required to do a minimum level of troubleshooting as the first step in processing any defective return requests.  

Please provide the following information when making a request:

  • Customer name, address and account number (Dealer info if applicable)

  • Date of Purchase: WARRANTY PERIOD COVERS ONE YEAR FROM DATE OF PURCHASE

  • Part number and Lot code

  • Description of defect (please include samples with return)

  • Original PO/invoice #

  • Make and model of printer                  

If a TRI Industries customer service representative is not able to resolve the problem, a replacement cartridge will be sent to the address requested and charged to your account.  Once the defective cartridge is returned and is determined to be defective a credit will be applied to your account. TRI will ship the replacement cartridge out by a carrier of our choice.  TRI reserves the right to charge a 15% restocking fee for returned cartridges that are not defective.  A service call to replace a defective cartridge is not covered by this warranty. 

 

Return Packaging Guidelines

Please adhere to the following guidelines when returning products.  Credit may be denied if guidelines are not followed:

  • Pack any returned product properly, using original packaging or equal, so as to prevent damage during return shipment.

  • DO NOT label or write directly on unused product boxes to ensure proper credit.

  • A copy of the RMA sheet must be placed inside the packaging and RMA # clearly marked on the outside.

  • Use the return label for shipping and tracking within 30 days from the RMA origination date.

  • Return cartridges before they reach “End of Life” (empty)

  • Return only products purchased from Tri Industries. TRI Industries reserves the right to charge customers who return product not purchased from TRI Industries.

 Recommendations for Proper Defect Analysis

Please include a hard copy of any printing defect.  Circle or indicate the problem on the hard copy.   Include a narrative describing any pertinent information that would assist us in identifying the root cause.
